Bodybuilding Workout Routines

www.LeeHayward.com In this video clip I’m going to show you the 300 workout. I’ve been following this for the past several weeks with great results. The 300 workout was published a while back in men’s health and it was supposedly used to help the actors from the movie 300 get in shape. The way this workout goes is that youll do a total of 300 reps from 6 different exercises. And rather then increasing the weights or the number of reps that you do each time, like with a typical workout program, you keep the weights and volume the same and strive to do the workout faster and faster, beating your personal best time. This is a great change of pace from regular bodybuilding type of workouts and it will build up your muscular endurance, increase your work capacity, and help provide some unique muscle stimulation.

  3. imyourutube Says:

Do you lift according to your weight? So you lift 135 pound for dead lifts. If I weigh less should I generally be lifting what I weigh or just under?

  5. Efferts Says:

@MrTheSwampthing Not “impossible”. Folks can complete w/o rest. (I can). The point is that they don’t have to, particularly novices.

@thrashmetal1029 program is designed to boost your stamina and strenght. I do it 3 times a week for few weeks then ill change to other program

  14. morgrym84 Says:

first attempt 22 minutes dead. 7th attempt 14min.46sec. few more ill go for 13 min.

  15. MrTheSwampthing Says:

This guy has the right idea, rest briefly between sets. The 300 workout claims that there is no rest between sets which is bullshit, because that would make this workout “impossible” to complete even for the fittest individuals.

  16. Evers95 Says:

How many days a week do you do the 300 workout?

  17. dazzadude1 Says:

its good bt the chinups r assisted…. i add 10kg to my legs wen i do 300 routine chinups. and i go lower on the deadlifts. iam smaller tho and an ex marathon runner! a gd all round workout. if u mix this wiv the prince of persia workout it is insane. use creatine and meal replacements wiv l-glutamine 2 gt bigger and fitter.

  18. MrDenbrun Says:

@SEALHopeful28 just because its like a test like any other test u work up to it, its better to train up for it and to separate the excersise, its just probably the best way of getting a better time really. Just because any routine needs variety thats how you get stronger, dunno if that helped?

  19. ougabougis Says:

I am going to give it a shot couple of times a week for about a month, while not reducing my weight lifting rootine i am in.

It seems to me that this 300 workout helps more for fat loss and vitality rather than gaining strength. But it seems decent.

  20. AdangerousRETARD Says:

@utube2005 ya you could if you eat right. and if you want you could cut the amount of reps you do per set in half, use heavier weight and repeat the routine twice or just simply use heavier weights as you get stronger

  21. submergedabovewater Says:

For the people wondering how often to do this workout. I wouldn’t do it but once every two weeks. This isn’t a typical daily bodybuilding workout program. It’s more of a bench mark workout to test your muscular endurance.

  22. MrHeavyweight79 Says:

    @dontel2009 wat do u mean?

  23. dontel2009 Says:

when you do the 50 reps do you repeat until you reach 300

  24. thrashmetal1029 Says:

what is this workout supposed to do? and how often should i do it?

  25. SEALHopeful28 Says:

@JandA75cent You dont join the SEALs. And you wont make it if you just want to try it out. You have to want it
