KILLER MMA KETTLEBELL WORKOUT – vol 3 Using Kettlebells to ramp up muscular endurance is perfect for killer MMA battles. Doing high rep sets of Kettlebell swings, snatches, and cleans is a great way to build strength, burn fat and increase your conditioning. With Vol. 3, you are going to use interval training, switching between skipping and Kettlebell exercises. Each interval is one minute (1:1) – that’s one minute skipping followed by one minute of the Kettlebell exercise – the skipping is counted as your active rest between the Kettlebell sets, but you will soon find out that it still hits your cardiovascular endurance. @Bobby25ification The calories burned depends on how much you weigh. But this type of workout will keep your calories burning for several hours later. So it’s almost impossible to tell the true number of calories burned.

He does make several errors, but he is obviously fit so I don’t think he will injure himself.. Regarding the swings a slightly heavier weight might force correct hip motion. Also, you need to always keep the wrists straight (only a few exceptions). When doing an overhead snatch/lift your arm should travel in a straight line upwards, close to your ear, classic error is to sort of push the weight away from the body. Also, when you clean the weight it should rest on your arms closer to your center.

I like the idea…the swing form is terrible. The idea of the swing is to bend at the hips not the legs and waist. your arms should be loose so only your hip power is throwing the kettlebell up without using your arms at all.

please don’t swing a kettlebell that high. theres no need for the hyper extension. keep it below ur chest

@love44jesus4ever They increase the muscles in your triceps and fore arm area, so yes, your punches will do more damage. Having bigger knuckles will also aid, a lot.

Nice. I used to do the exact same workout back when I blew my MCL. My grappling coach had me jump rope and swing his KB around to keep my leg strong. 4 months later I actually feel better than I did before my accident. Seriously, before, I was a Kettlebell skeptic… now, I seriously am a believer.
